I’ve done my fair share of transactions over the last ten years on eBay, but never have I had a more memorable experience than buying a €10 Monkey Potato Peeler. I use the peeler in user-centred design workshop and the blade on one got broken traveling back from Brussels. Luckily I was able to find one quite easily on eBay.

Well, David sent me a picture of my wrapped package waiting for shipping, along with a multicolored email and a picture of his dog saying hello. Then the package arrived, decorated with multicolor tape, stickers, strips of wrapping paper. In addition to the peeler, he included a lovely postcard, a to-do list, and the topper … “Happiness Seeds.”
