So, what is the pull of reality television shows? Our SkyBox (TiVo to you in the States) is chock full of these series. I’m not proud to admit it, but we have been avid watchers of Project Runway, Britain’s Got Talent, Hell’s Kitchen, American Idol, etc. I suppose these shows at least have the thread of performance or creativity. You won’t catch us watching Survivior or Big Brother.

Regardless of what you think, there are a few moments of creative genius like George Sampson’s homage to Singin’ in the Rain. (Sorry, didn’t spend time looking for a version of just the performance.)
