Sligo U13 rugby club pushed their way into the Connacht Cup final next week in Galway following a convincing 27-12 victory over the Athlone Buccaneers. The score was 15-0 at the half and 27-0 with not much time remaining when the substitutes gave up two quick scores.Gabe had two assists and is pictured in the centre of the maul as the pack lumbered close to a score. The Sligo side was mighty and rose to the defensive occasion when they needed it. Our side looks to avenge a close, but high-scoring loss next week against Galwegians.
