While knocking the walls of the shed to make way for Lisa’s studio, I came across this closed off chimney. Apparently like many properties, the shed was once the original house. I am intent on keeping the stone from the walls which will be a fitting tribute to the house.

I can’t imagine how difficult it must have been raising some of these stones into place. It is also easy to imagine the family gathering around the warmth of the hearth. We have learned from some of the neighbours, this was originally the O’Dwyer residence and was famous for a bit of the music …
