I’m very proud of completing the cement tile roof at the back of the house. Lisa did an excellent job on the cement flashing (and painting), which I can honestly say is the first time the two of us have been working on a roof together. We finished just in time as the midges began to swarm.
My measurements weren’t perfect, but you might argue that I was looking for an excuse to use the diamond edge grinder wheel to shave off the excess tile at the edges. We still need to fill the floor and lay the pea shingle (or pea stone as I recall it.) We’re seriously beginning to consider how much of the bathroom extension we may be able to do ourselves.
