Lisa came down with the flu so I moved into the spare bedroom to sleep. This room has been functioning as a wardrobe for all our clothes and a storage space for Lisa’s studio as well. Gabe took the opportunity to turn this into a camping expedition with Dad and sacked out next to me.

Gabe has this annoying sleeping habit I’ll call “the winch.” He rolls toward you on his back, grabs a handful of covers and rolls away from you, effectively removing your coverage and locking the sheets and blankets underneath him. Your only options are to wait for “the winch” to turn back to you and unlock so you can pull the covers back; tug violently on the covers, which often results in “sleep tugging” where you get audible grunts and an apparent super-human burst of strength from your opponent; or just get your own blanket.
