We have been blessed with exceptional weather and traveled out to the Carrowkeel tombs for a fabulous view of the surrounding counties. We ended up at the Beach Bar at Aughris Head. There is a wonderful walk along the shoreline above the cliffs looking out at the ocean. You travel along a path until you get to a lookout point where the grass is several inches thick, like an outside mattress. You could just lie there for hours and sleep under the perfectly blue skies.
