Isn’t it obvious that you only have one chance for a first impression? You’ll never capture the same moment, in the same way, the second time around. This is especially true when you visit a new country. My Dad is in Europe for the first time and it reminds me not to take anything for granted.
Almost ten months into life in a new country, I do feel routines beginning to develop and errands replacing time for new discoveries. I don’t care where you are, a part of each day should be treated like a vacation. Are you living or lying?
