Lisa and I are pretty sure Coach Lane is the best restaurant in Sligo. We didn’t think we would get a table on Valentine’s Evening, but were able to snuggle up in a booth by the bar. This is the place to get fresh seafood and we did it up with an order of mussels and clams, and main dishes of sole and sea bass. Fantastic. It may sound funny, but the garden salad was an absolute standout. Trust me, it’s not easy to find good greens here amongst all the meat and “buh-day-duhs”.

This is the second time were able to take advantage of Gabe’s evening basketball practice to dash out and have dinner together.
