This was the first Academy Awards show I missed in at least 18 years. I used to think the Oscars ran late, but they don’t even start here until 11:30PM. Our guest from California, Lea, actually stayed up to watch the whole thing … until 4:30AM. I was up at 6AM in order to get ready for a drive to a client in Donegal.
Normally I view the time difference as a benefit. I get to finish up work and make calls back to the States in the evening. And even better, these messages come to you from the future …
