Late arrival from Dublin into Pisa. The Hotel Bologna appears to be a winner, and our triple is practically a suite with what appears to be a balcony overlooking a garden. We’ll see if there is a picturesque view in the morning.
We’re only staying the evening and catching a train tomorrow to Florence. The Tower of Pisa is right by the train station and Lisa may try to hunt down some sculpture by Giovanni Pisano that was a major influence on Masaccio.

Happy to hear you made in safely! I assume the hotel is wireless! The train ride should be fun – high speed??

Wireless only in Pisa. Finally found the time in Florence to do some postings … and unfortunately watch the Steeler game.
The trains are not high speed. Some are, but not this one. It is a short distance between Pisa and Florence.
