It’s beginning to feel like winter. The temperatures have been in the thirties and we have had some sleet and freezing rain. Snow is something of a rarity over here and the damp cuts right through you.
Clearing the perimeter of the property has become a bit of a heathy obsession. You can now see into the woods from the sun room. Working in the brisk air beneath the fir trees was meditative.
Gabe capped off Sunday by making a roast leg of organic lamb with rosemary, garlic and lemon. We shared the meal with our neighbors and had a great afternoon sipping wine by the fire.

You’re not the only one feeling Winter! Today’s forecast (in Nazareth, PA) was for snow flurries. Much to my wife’s dismay, however, it was only bone-chilling cold.
When we have our first major snowfall, I’m shipping it to Ireland!!!
