Ireland is a damp country and the fact that we are surrounded by trees on three sides doesn’t allow the ground to dry very easily. Unfortunately, this isn’t even the rainy season. Our only major hiccup has been some septic problems related to the intake line sinking so the water flows uphill. Right, water doesn’t flow uphill …
Thankfully the picture you see here is just Gabe and I clearing out a pond. We hope to build some stone walls and were pulling the rock from the perimiter of the pond and removing the liner so it could be filled in this week. Hercules here, thinking he still has the body of an 18 year-old, pinched a few nerves in his back tossing around boulders. Who thought pulling on socks would be one of the most painful exercises you did in a day.
