Gabe found a goat’s skull in the woods beside the house today. We had heard the last family kept goats. (Gabe just corrected me that there were two skulls, but this one was in the best shape.)
I was instantly reminded of the Rolling Stones album Goats Head Soup. I don’t remember much about the album, except as a kid, I’d pull the sleeve out for this outrageous insert image.
