I remember in college that you could get expelled for defenestration. It can be liberating getting rid of stuff and now that the dumpster has arrived, we are tossing things with wild abandon. I did learn you need to give the police 24-hours notice in order to get a permit from the city to park a dumpster. Could someone please introduce me to one nice cop? I got the permit, but not before being intimidated, and dare I say, threatened in the basement of City Hall.
